The Margaret River region will host the MasterCard World Wine and Travel Summit from November 13 to 17.

Speakers include Richard Cartiere, a respected US wine journalist whose Wine Market Report, based in California’s famous Napa Valley, is hugely influential on the American wine buying trends.

Other guests include prominent US winemaker Robert Mondavi.

Pemberton’s Picardy Wines makes one of the best pinots in the country;  little wonder, when ex-Mosswood founders, the Pannell family, is calling the shots.

Now, they have teamed up with Subiaco’s Chapter One restaurant to host a pinot, duck and truffle dinner.

The dinner, to be held on November 15, will feature six vintages of Picardy Pinot, plus three TDC Pinot Noir and other wines being prepared with some vigorous food matches from resident chef, Jason Walker.
