WESTERN Australia's South West has expanded its offering for foodies of all kinds this summer.

While the opening of Must Margaret River is sure to attract a following, several local entrepreneurs on the Dunsborough side of Caves Road are serving up some treats of their own.

Donna Keelty is one of them.

After running the busy cafe at Goanna Gallery for several years, which she sold last August, Ms Keelty went into a joint venture with the owners of the Yallingup Galleries (pictured).

The gallery is located just off Caves Road, on Walker Road.

Robyne and Robert Malcolm have built up the bush area alongside their gallery with decking and a small house for the cafe.

The cafe looks like it is part of the décor, with native plants kept to shade the all-alfresco venue.

Ms Keelty leases the venue from the Malcolms, and has a range of light healthy lunches, cakes and a local coffee brew, Yahava, on offer.

Ms Keelty's chocolate and beetroot cake is considered a highlight.

Although the cafe only opened six weeks ago, Ms Keelty has another project on the go, which is to launch in two weeks.

Hot Chocolatte is based in downtown Dunsborough and specialises in chocolate and coffee.

Ms Keelty says there will be a large range of home made chocolates and lollies available and the venue will be open until 9pm.
