A bid to oust most of the board members on Perth-based internet services provider EFTel Ltd has today been canned.
Last month major shareholder Thooruna Pty Ltd, controlled by Matthew Bretherton, requisitioned an extraordinary meeting of shareholders to dump four out of five directors including chief executive Simon Ehrenfeld.
At the time of the requisition, no reason was given for the removal of directors and no alternative directors were proposed.
