BA?AKA Petroleum and ?oc Oil have agreed to conduct a joint study to evaluate the Cap Juby oil prospect in offshore Morocco.The area has been the subject of previous reviews and ?oc, which held a portion of the prospect until 2000, is in possession of a considerable amount of data, allowing faster progression of the study, according to the local companies. Baraka has sought approval from the Moroccan national oil company, ONA?EP, to conduct the proposed joint study with ?oc in the area and also requested an extension to the initial evaluation period.
