RESULTS from the National Business Bulletin’s annual corporate image survey are in. BankWest is the number one commercial bank in Western Australia. Replies from 650 chief executives from companies Australia wide contained rankings of the respective banks using a five-point scale from very positive through to negative. BankWest was the highest-ranked commercial bank in WA, followed by ANZ, Challenge Bank, Commonwealth Bank and National Australia Bank. General manager of business development, David Taylor, said BankWest’s $750,000 sponsorship of Curtin Business School’s Small Business Unit had built on its already diverse earnings base.
