B2B announces major appointment

FORMER South African Sun Microsystems managing director Christopher de Beyer has been appointed to the boards of B2B.net Technology Ltd and B2B.net Ltd.

As CEO of both companies, Mr de Beyer will continue to be the principle driver of B2B.net’s operations in the Asia Pacific including Australia, New Zealand, Japan, China and South East Asia.

While with Sun Microsystems Mr de Beyer was responsible for trebling the performance of the operation so that it exceeded Sun’s worldwide market average.

B2B.net chairman and founder John Andrews said Mr de Beyer’s promotion to the board of directors made excellent operational sense and brought his extensive experience and hands-on knowledge of the company onto the board.

B2B.net provides healthcare solutions via the Internet for physicians and healthcare organisations, that improve productivity, lower operational costs, provide improved access to healthcare information.
