Australasian Resources Ltd has made several appointments as part of its Balmoral South iron ore project. Todd Axford has been appointed exploration manager, having previously held positions with Portman Mining Ltd and Mount Gibson Iron Ltd. Eduardo Valenzuela has been appointed mining manager, having held senior positions with BHP Ltd, Sundance Resources Ltd and Anaconda Nickel Ltd. Martin Payne, a mechanical engineer with 28 years’ industry experience, has joined the company as infrastructure manager. Michael Issakov has also been appointed commercial manager, and Nick Rossetti as project controls manager.
