COAL and iron ore explorer Aquila Resources Ltd has appointed Gordon Galt as a non-executive director. In the past ten years he has worked mainly as the managing director of companies engaged in the development and operation of large resource projects. A former Newcrest Mining Ltd managing director, Mr Galt is a founder of New Holland Capital Pty Ltd, established in Sydney in 2005 and which recently opened a Perth office.
