O’Keefe to FranklinCovey

Jamie O’Keefe has joined training and development organisation FranklinCovey as a new client partner. Mr O’Keefe has been involved in sales and marketing in the media for the past 20 years. Most recently, he was general manager of OKM, which was the WA sales office for BRW, Smart Investor and Virgin Blue Voyeur magazines. The appointment comes following FranklinCovey’s opening of offices in Subiaco.

O’Connor for 4 Land Property Group

4 Land Property Group has appointed Lauren O’Connor to the position of marketing manager. Prior to this appointment Ms O’Connor was a project manager with Titan Interactive from April 2009.

Staniforth to Otan

Property funds management group Otan has appointed former Wallaby Scott Staniforth as business development manager. In addition to an extensive rugby career, Mr Staniforth has previously held positions with Karma Royal Group where he was a marketing manager.

Archer, Hullett and Herron for the CCC

Acting commissioner of the Corruption and Crime Commission, Gail Archer, has agreed to continue on in the position she has held since 2008 to ensure the new acting Commissioners have time to settle into their roles. Michelle Hullett and Mark Herron were sworn in on January 25 as the two new acting commissioners. Ms Hullett has practised with national law firm Freehills for 25 years. Mr Herron joined Francis Burt Chambers in 2000 where he has since practised as a barrister.

Rodgers’ new role at GHD

Jim Rodgers has joined GHD’s Western Australian operating centre as business group manager, oil and gas. Prior to joining GHD, Mr Rodgers was director of projects for Wood Group.

Laurance joins Argonaut

Integrated investment house Argonaut Limited has appointed Scott Laurance as director, corporate advisory of its corporate advisory division. Mr Laurance has 15 years’ experience in the finance, engineering and construction industries and joins Argonaut after spending several years as vice-president commodities group at Barclays Capital.

Frasers management changes

Frasers Property Australia has announced two changes to its senior management team. Current chief executive Stanley Quek has become chairman of the board, where he will continue to contribute to the strategic direction of the business. Guy Pahor has assumed the role of chief executive. Prior to joining Frasers Mr Pahor held roles as chief executive at MAB Corporation and was co-founder and executive director of Citta Property Group.

Bolin, Curran join Foodbank

Woolworths regional manager WA, Brad Bolin, and state manager for employment, education and training at MEGT (Australia), Janet Curran, have been appointed as directors of the Foodbank WA board.
