Richards, Robinson to Deloitte Perth

Deloitte has appointed Tim Richards (far right) as national mining leader and Anthony Robinson as a new mining and resources partner. Mr Richards is currently the leader of Deloitte’s Perth assurance and advisory practice. Mr Robinson previously worked for Momentum Partners.

Matrai Minter Ellison associate

Minter Ellison has appointed Nicole Matrai as an associate. Ms Matrai will fulfil a specialist role in international trade. She previously worked as a legal adviser in the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade in Canberra and as an Australian negotiator to the World Trade Organization, through a diplomatic posting in Geneva, Switzerland.

Sertorio’s Lease Equity role

Lease Equity has appointed Albert Sertorio executive director asset management. Mr Sertorio previously held general management roles with Whitford City Shopping Centre, Midland Gate Shopping Centre, and most recently enex100 and Forrest Chase.

Gilliam back for Alliance position

Alliance Recruitment has appointed Kurt Gillam general manager. Mr Gillam has spent the past five years at The Skilled Group as the national sales manager and WA/VIC state manager for their start-up recruitment division PeopleCo.

Widdowson takes JSL post

Jones Lang LaSalle has appointed Ben Widdowson associate director industrial in the Perth office. Mr Widdowson joins Jones Lang LaSalle from Watchtower Property. Previous to this he worked in industrial sales and leasing roles for major London-based commercial property firms and is a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.

New board position for Dennis

Perth-based Bid Write director Nigel Dennis is the first Australian to be appointed to The Association of Proposal Management Professionals board.

Bannister joins CSA Global

CSA Global has appointed Kent Bannister principal mining and projects adviser. Mr Bannister has more than 35 years’ experience in iron ore, base metals, gold, uranium, manganese, mineral sands and nickel projects worldwide. He has led numerous mineral project feasibility and due diligence studies providing advice to Australian and international mineral companies and financial institutions.

Woods GM for Thiess

Thiess Services has appointed Andy Wood as the new general manager for Western Australia. Mr Wood recently completed a contract in PNG, working as the government’s representative for its 17 per cent share of the $US18bn PNG LNG project. He also has led the Tenix Downer Power Alliance in WA and previously held senior management positions with Tenix, Agility and AGL.
