Multari to Marketforce Perth

Marketforce has appointed Rick Multari director of client services in a move that marks his return to Perth after more than 12 years overseas. Mr Multari previously worked for Saatchi & Saatchi and HHCL & Partners in London, before moving to Hong Kong for various leadership roles with M&C Saatchi, Ogilvy and most recently TBWA. Mr Multari began his career in Perth with the Brand Agency.

Robinson Pilbara Access GM

Mining, construction and oil and gas industry service provider Pilbara Access Group has appointed Jim Robinson as general manager. Mr Robinson previously spent seven years with Coventry Group where he was general manager of the Coventry Fastener and Cooper Fluid Systems divisions.

Lenzo PEF chair

Property Council executive director Joe Lenzo (pictured) has been appointed as the new chairperson of the Property Education Foundation. Cedar Woods Properties non-executive director Ron Packer and Hawaiian Management director of investment property Evan Briers have also been appointed to the board.

Heylen construction president

Greg Heylen, executive general manager – civil of BGC Contracting, was re-elected president of the Construction Contractors Association of Western Australia at the AGM held in October.

Allott’s Cardno role

Cardno’s Western Australian division is expanding its local capabilities to include landscape architecture with the appointment of Jeff Allott as senior landscape architect. Mr Allott previously worked for WS Atkins in the Middle East and Place Design Group in both Australia and China as a senior landscape architect.

Hearn joins Allion Legal

Deborah Hearn has been appointed senior business development manager at Allion Legal and joins after a decade at a top tier legal firm. Ms Hearn will assist the principals of the firm in the development of their business and strategy for growth.

Purple Communications postings

Corporate PR advisory firm Purple Communications has appointed Tamatha Smith (top right) senior adviser and Cate Rocchi (top left) as a consultant. In addition, Annette Ellis has been promoted to director. Ms Smith has worked at a senior corporate affairs level for Macmahon Holdings, Mega Uranium and a range of infrastructure and leading consultancy businesses. She also worked for several years as a ministerial adviser for the state and federal governments. Ms Rocchi was most recently based in Hong Kong as a reporter for the Haymarket Group’s Asian Investor. In London, she has worked for Eurohedge (Euromoney Group) and Investment Week and International Investment, part of Incisive Media.

Bownes, Hardaker, Jenkins associates

Leading design firm Hames Sharley has appointed Ken Bownes, Chris Hardaker and David Jenkins as associates. Mr Bownes is Hames Sharley’s state retail portfolio leader. Both Mr Hardaker and Mr Jenkins have a number of years’ experience working in Asia, the Middle East and Europe. Mr Hardaker is presently the commercial manager for the Fiona Stanley Hospital design collaboration.

Gregory Castledine consultant

Castledine Legal & Mediation Services has appointed Mark Gregory as a consultant. Previously a partner at Minter Ellison in Perth, Mr Gregory will continue to advise in Native Title law, planning law, mining and project development, and government law.

Iannello, Bourke on board

The board of Hannah’s House has appointed Tony Iannello as chairman and Anne Bourke as a board member. Hannah’s House is a not-for-profit organisation aiming to assist children and the families of children who suffer from life-limiting conditions. Mr Iannello is the current chair of HBF Health Fund, MG Kailis Group, Aviva Corporation and Energia Minerals. He is also a director of SP Ausnet, ERM Power and a member of the Murdoch University Senate. Ms Bourke is currently the executive director, nursing and patient support services at Princess Margaret Hospital.

Sweeney Credo BDM

Workforce solutions provider Credo Group has appointed Terry Sweeney business development manager for its mining and resources division. Mr Sweeney was previously area sales manager for minerals and metals processing company Larox, now known as Outotec.
