Sutherland joins P&N board

Gloria Sutherland was appointed to the Police & Nurses board at its annual general meeting on October 25. Ms Sutherland was previously the director of population health for the Kimberley region with the Department of Health. She currently works as a strategic consultant and teaches at Notre Dame University. Stephen Melville and chairman Eric Smith were reappointed to the board.

Davy APP Corp project director

Professional services and project management consultancy APP Corporation has appointed Nick Davy as project director, retail and mixed use development. Mr Davy has operated as a director of three multi-disciplinary consultancies and led design product and management services for Westfield in the UK.

Fraser, Smith to Pindan

Pindan has appointed Mary Fraser as marketing manager and Matthew Smith as a sales consultant. Ms Fraser previously held marketing roles at Lend Lease Primelife and Fini Villages and was a director and co-owner of consulting firm Creating Communities. Mr Smith previously held the role of program manager at investment and business management company Emery Group.

Eggleton to manage at Western Power

Western Power has appointed Chris Eggleton as branch manager for transmission, primary engineering and construction. Mr Eggleton was previously the program director and project manager of the Department of Defence ANZAC Ship Project.

Mencev to MBA

MBA Insurance Services has appointed Paul Mencev business development manager. Mr Mencev joins MBAIS from Willis Insurance and is a specialist in the construction and mining industry.

Mengler joins Allion Legal

Stuart Mengler has been appointed a principal at Allion Legal in its corporate and resources practice group. Mr Mengler joins Allion from Beijing, where he spent the past five years as a partner at a top tier firm.

McGinley teams up with Capitalis

Perth-based strategic marketing consultancy Capitalis has appointed Carmel McGinley to the position of senior analyst. Based in Canberra, Ms McGinley has experience working with clients in commercial, not-for-profit and government sectors, and has developed analytic models to predict demand for services.

New roles for Brook, Ball

Professional Public Relations has appointed David Brook as account manager in its investor relations division. Mr Brook previously managed his own investor relations consulting business as well as occupying executive roles with Consolidated Minerals, Alcoa and Robe River Mining. Former senior consultant Georgia Ball has been promoted to senior account manager in its marketing and communications division.
