Iancov new CEO at DORIC DORIC has appointed Peter Iancov chief executive officer. Mr Iancov was previously general manager of Babcock and Brown Infrastructure’s (BBI) subsidiary, WestNet Energy. Prior to joining BBI, Mr Iancov was general manager of Alinta asset management, Western Australia. Cullen joins Repcol board FORMER PCH Group Ltd managing director Jamie Cullen has agreed to join the board of Repcol Ltd and invest $666,300 into the restructured and downsized debt collection company. Repcol recently moved to new and improved premises in Balcatta, recruited additional collection staff, completed a significant upgrade of its core debt collection system and won a state contract. Marshall elected to US NAS WESTERN Australian Nobel Laureate Barry Marshall has been elected into the prestigious US National Academy of Sciences. Professor Marshall, currently a UWA staff member, joins a handful of Australians who are among the more than 2,000 members and 390 foreign associates of the academy. Vale: Phillip Pendal FORMER MP Phillip Pendal, aged 61, died of a suspected heart attack on Tuesday. Mr Pendal spent 25 years in politics as a liberal and liberal independent, and was a well-recognised contributor to the South Perth community. Most recently, he worked for the Catholic Education Office on compiling a historical account of WA’s Catholic Education Community. Hocking’s Murdoch role Philip Hocking has been appointed dean of the minerals and energy faculty at Murdoch University. A CPA, Mr Hocking was previously a business manager at Murdoch and also served a three-year term on the Murdoch University Senate. McAllister to Student Edge Student benefit organisation Student Edge has appointed Katie McAllister marketing coordinator. Ms McAllister was previously events manager at EECW. McKinley expands McKinley Plowman & Associates has appointed John Budrovich, Rebecca Lisle, Margaret Robinson, Jan de Bruto and Jo Truslove to its Joondalup office, and Anthony Lamberto to its Malaga office. Wade in at Maunsell WA Maunsell WA has appointed experienced water system designer, Peter Wade, as technical director for water and wastewater. Morris SBC Stirling CEO The SBC Stirling board has appointed David Morris CEO. Mr Morris has business experience in both Australia and the UK. Robertson’s GM posting Ear Science Institute Australia has appointed Brett Robertson general manager. Dr Robertson was previously manager, clinical services at the institute. Menon to Ausclad Ausclad Group of Companies has appointed Anand Menon general manager oil and gas. McMullan to JWS Perth Richard McMullan has joined Johnson Winter and Slattery Perth as senior associate. Mr McMullan was formerly a senior associate with Freehills. Executive role for Corvaia Ross Corvaia has been appointed senior account executive at Australian Reliance (previously West Coast Group Insurance Brokers).
