Another Lord Nelson victory

TROY Resources has found a way to breathe new life into its Bulchina gold processing facility near Sandstone in Western Australia.

The company has made a gold discovery at its Lord Nelson deposit in an area about 30 kilometres south east of its Bulchina Mine.

The discovery was made on ground that Troy had previously not even considered.

On January 30 it reported that two reconnaissance drill holes 3.2 kilometres north of its Lord Henry Deposit had returned promising early gold results. That ground was named Lord Nelson.

The beauty of the Lord Nelson discovery is that the gold is relatively close to the surface.

The discovery comes after Troy had poured $8.8 million into 5,000 exploration drill holes through the Sandstone Greenstone Belt.

Troy executive chairman John Jones said the discovery was the best the company had ever made and had the potential to turn the company into a long-term gold producer.

"It surpasses our recently discovered Lord Henry Deposit which we also expect to mine.
