Anglicare Wintercare Appeal is a division of Anglicare that helps people who are absolutely desperate. It boasts a committee of business people who volunteer their time to support Anglicare’s fund raising effort. One of the highlights of the Wintercare Appeal is Anglicare’s Annual Corporate Breakfast. This year it will be held on July 14 at the Hyatt Regency Perth. This year’s guest speaker is Alinta chairman Tony Howarth.

Other activities forthcoming for Anglicare besides its Wintercare Appeal, which has already been launched, is the Christmas Appeal and Christmas Angel program. The Christmas Angel program has two parts – the sale of Christmas Angels through Bunnings stores to raise funds for Anglicare and the nomination of real life community angels. Next March the charity will also be holding its inaugural Op Shop Ball.
