An Introduction to Facilitation
UWA Extension will hold an Introduction to Facilitation on Friday July 16.
The one-day program will introduce the principles of facilitation through exercises, activities, discussion, self-refection, and the experience of being facilitated.
At completion of the session participants will be able to describe the role of the facilitator, state the stages of group development, discuss the differences between content and process, define key communication skills necessary for the role of facilitator and list the essential elements of a session.
