Alltype Engineering has won a significant supply and fabrication contract at Chevron’s Gorgon liquefied natural gas development.
The privately-held engineering group said the scope of work would include the supply and manufacture of temporary bracing and sea fastening for the CB&I-Kentz joint venture at Gorgon.
Alltype managing director Colin Heitman said the contract would see 60 to 80 jobs created at peak periods.
“This contract award reinforces the competitiveness of local fabrication companies in Western Australia,” Mr Heitman said in a statement.
Commercial terms of the contract were not disclosed.
