Engineers Australia’s Centre for Engineering Leadership and Management is hosting a breakfast focused on alliancing contracts, June 28 at the Perth Convention Exhibition Centre. The risks to planning, developing and constructing major engineering projects are increasing as demand for more rigorous assessment of project benefits increases. As part of a panel discussion, three industry experts will share their view on minimising these risks through developing an alliance with contractors. Speakers: Menno Henneveld – commissioner, Main Roads WA; Greg Elliott – director, Projenco; and Greg Steinepreis – partner, Minter Ellison. Registration for this event costs $50 for Engineers Australia members and $70 for non members. For more information contact Fiona Thorniley on 9321 3340 or email celmwa@engineersaustralia.org.au.
