The Wine Industry Association of WA is hosting its 5th annual WA Wine Industry Outlook Conference, November 24 at the Perth Convention Exhibition Centre. A line-up of industry experts will update attendees on the latest in wine industry statistics, trends, market opportunities and technical issues. Guest speakers include: John Griffiths – president, Wine Industry Association of WA; Matt Benson JP MLC – Member for South West Region; Lawrie Stanford – manager information & analysis, Australian Wine & Brandy Corporation; Stephen Strachan – CEO, Winemakers’ Federation of Australia; Peter Jacobs – head of agribusiness, ANZ; and Denis Horgan – proprietor, Leeuwin Estate. The conference will be followed by the Wine Industry Awards 2006 at a gala dinner hosted by Gerry Gannon. Registration for the conference costs $240 for WIAWA members and $260 for non members.
