WESTERN Australian firm Advanced Energy Systems technology was recently installed at the Taj Mahal in India. Installed by Central Electronics Laboratories, the AES systems provides solar power to local electricity systems including the Air Pollution Monitoring Laboratory at the Taj Mahal. AES has also been selected with Shell Solar to design and implement a 100-kilowatt renewable power plant developed in conjunction with the Beijing Olympics Game planning agency. The system, to be installed over the next six months, will be situated at the Olympic village adjacent to the Olympic stadium.
