St Vincent de Paul Society

The St Vincent de Paul Society fondly known as Vinnies was first established in Western Australia in 1865 and assists 50,000 people each year. Vinnies provides emergency relief through a large volunteer base, which addresses the needs of people predominately in their own homes with respect, compassion and hope. Vinnies also supports Western Australians through recovery-focused mental health services, a range of services to prevent or alleviate homelessness, recreational programs for children and teens, financial counselling, migrant and refugee programs and retail and depot operations, while advocating for the people it assists and encouraging a greater understanding of social justice issues.
