A/Executive Manager Transmission Growth, Western Power
As the A/Executive Manager for Transmission Growth, Zane is accountable for enabling industry decarbonisation through major transmission expansion programs that support the connection of new large scale renewable generation and battery storage systems.
With 30 years in the electricity network industry, Zane started as an apprentice electrician and has progressed through to senior leadership positions in both government-owned and private organisations.
Before acting as the executive manager for transmission growth, Zane has been the executive manager for asset operations and has held senior roles in operations and works planning and management. A key part of his role as an executive at Western Power is sponsoring the Focus Ability Employee Network Group and is a member of the Diversity and Inclusion Council.
He holds electrical trade qualifications, Diplomas in electro technology and project management, a Masters of business administration and is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and the Leadership WA Signature program.
