Daniel (Danny) is an experienced executive with 25 years’ management experience in Construction Materials across Australia and overseas.

Beginning his career in Perth, Western Australia as a commerce graduate, Danny entered the construction industry with Pioneer Concrete in technical and operational roles.

He managed Pioneer’s various business units across Australia before moving back to Western Australia as the group’s youngest Executive General Manager responsible for Western Australia and South Australia.

Danny led a regional growth strategy through acquisition and brownfield developments in the North West and South West which established Pioneer as a major Western Australian company with strong links to the mining growth cycle.

After leading the national brand change to Hanson in 2004, Danny moved to Queensland as Executive General Manager for the company’s larger Northern Region business.

In 2015 Danny was appointed Chief Executive Officer for Hanson’s UK business, a complex vertically integrated building materials company of AUD$2 billion turnover and more than 3,500 employees. He completed a major sales and digital transformation to reposition Hanson in the UK market.

Danny returned to Australia with his family in 2019 to take up the role of CEO of BGC Australia, a private construction and materials company with a revenue of AUD$2.5 billion and more than 4,000 full time employees and contractors.

Unless specifically stated on the event invitation that the invitation is not transferable, you may send another attendee to take your place at the event if you are unable to attend.

If you are unable to attend, and cannot find someone to take your place, cancellations for all bookings will be accepted up to 14 days prior to the event and a full refund will be issued provided that Business News has acknowledged notification of your cancellation.

If Business News does not receive notification 14 days prior to the event, there will be no refund for cancellations.
