iPads in the Boardroom

Event Date:
28 August 2012
CSA Seminar Room
Ground Floor
8 Victoria Avenue

The iPad technology has raised the interest of Directors in the boardroom. It is the new eco friendly alternative to printed board packs which can be cumbersome, arrive late, be very costly in administrative time, printing and courier fees, and in some cases can be out of date if there have been changes since the time of delivery.

The technology now available allows secure access to all the meeting information, previous minutes, a reading room, action points and those important board papers as soon as the company secretary has published the details.

Colin Panagakis from ICSA Software will give an overview of the technology application BoardPad, and demonstrate its use in providing information to directors.

This briefing will include:

  • the benefits of technology for directors
  • understanding of a board portal
  • personalised meeting schedules for Executive and Non Executive Directors
security and protection of documents on the iPad
