Zonta PNS Celebrity Tray Project Exhibition,Auction and Sale

110 uniquely painted and decorated wooden trays which local artists,craftspeople, celebrities, media personalities, sporting identities, politicians have volunteered their time and skills to decorate will be exhibited and offered for auction or sale.
Exhibition entry is FREE.

All proceeds from the auction and sale of the celebrity trays, will provide funding for our ongoing Zonta projects. The ‘Patricia Giles Centre’ is one such project that will receive funds for their ‘Camps’ program. This program provides counselling, education and support to women and their children who have witnessed and/or experienced violence in the family.

This event has been timed to coincide with the start of the United Nations’16 Days of Activism against Gender-based Violence Campaign from 25 November to 10 December. November 25 marks International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women and December 10 is Human Rights Day. During this period Zonta International, and its clubs around the world, focus on its Zonta Says NO to Violence Against Women campaign to raise awareness and take action to end violence against women and girls, the United Nations, through their UNiTE campaign, marks 25th of every month as ‘Orange Day’.
