Cathryn Carver, Managing Director

Cathryn Carver is Managing Director, Institutional Australia. In this role, she is responsible for the strategic focus of institutional client relationships, products and services within Australia.

Cathryn began her career at ANZ as Head of Corporate Finance in 2005 before moving into her role in Global Markets as Global Head of Capital Markets in Hong Kong October 2008.

Prior to joining ANZ, Cathryn was in a range of roles at Westpac. These included Acting General Manager of Risk, Institutional Banking at Westpac. Her other roles at Westpac included General Manager, Global Industries Group, General Manager Corporate Finance and head of Capital Markets. 

Prior to joining Westpac, Cathryn was head of Debt Markets at Macquarie Bank.

Cathryn holds a Bachelor of Business (Economics & Finance) from Curtin University, WA. She is also a member of the Chief Executive Women, an organisation of over 200 women leaders from corporate Australia with the purpose of promoting the development and effective use of Australia’s leadership talent.
