Access to a reliable, high-quality and affordable water supply is critical to ensuring the
continued prosperity of Western Australia's key industries. CEDA's panel of industry and
water experts will discuss how industry can be guaranteed water in the long-term.

EVENT OVERVIEW

WA's economic strength is underpinned by the resources and agricultural industries,
along with support industries such as manufacturing and services.

These sectors share a heavy reliance on water, but with challenges such as changing
weather patterns, isolated locations and limited infrastructure, how can we guarantee
industry's water future?

This CEDA briefing will examine:

What role is water policy playing? Can industrial water supply be improved or are efficiency
strategies the key to meeting future demands? Can innovations such as desalination and
recycling be better utilised?
