Investing into start-ups provides real commercial opportunity.

The new Investment Class

It is well recognised that Australian early-stage enterprises have been attracting international investors due to our resilient economic climate, strong pipeline of opportunities and the high calibre of R&D. With entrepreneurial activity building in Australia; second only to the United States of entrepreneurs per capita, there is a great opportunity for astute investors to participate in this growing investment class whilst supporting their fellow Australian entrepreneurs and the broader economy.

The WA Angel Investors in partnership with the WA Department of Commerce is delivering a keynote seminar on Angel Investing featuring Mr Jordan Green, Chairman of the Australian Association of Angel Investors, and Mr Rick Baker, Managing Director of Blackbird Ventures, with a focus to increase awareness of the emerging investment opportunities to the broader investor community in Perth.

The WA Angel Investors (WAAI), a not-for-profit organisation, is actively engaged with start-up and emerging businesses to provide funding and mentoring support to chosen deals. The WAAI is part of an international network that provides opportunities for its members to receive financial returns, support new industry opportunities, philanthropic rewards and personal benefits such as expanding your peer networks.

If you would like to learn more about investing in early stage businesses and how you might go about it, you are advised to register for the upcoming free seminar.

We look forward to seeing you there.
