World Food Day is a commitment to eradicate hunger in our lifetime and celebrates the creation
of the Food and Agriculture Organisation of the United Nations. Our climate is our biggest threat
to a secure food supply. With an adverse changing climate and population increases, to meet
an increased demand agriculture and food systems will need to adapt to become more resilient,
productive and sustainable.

This year the UNAA WA Division is hosting an evening seminar for the Perth community to learn about Goal 2 of the Sustainable Development Goals: End hunger, achieve food security and improved nutrition and promote sustainable agriculture. Our two expert speakers will present on these topics and how they related to Western Australians.
