Increasingly, executives are looking to develop a board portfolio as part of their career plan. At the same time, boards are becoming mindful of their composition in terms of talent, skills and expertise, due to a greater need for transparency, due diligence and careful selection.

This talk will examine how to develop and NED career pathway, as well as an understanding of the requirements of the role in order to assist career planning.

Lloyd has more than 25 years’ experience in senior-level executive search and human resources consulting in key industry sectors in Australia, New Zealand, South East Asia and the United Kingdom.

He is considered one of the leading human resource professionals in the Asia Pacific for his proven expertise in recruiting Chief Executive Officers, Chief Operating Officers, Chairmen and Non-Executive Directors. Lloyd also has a strong track record of success in corporate governance assignments involving structure, strategy and board composition.

Lloyd holds a Bachelor of Arts (Distinction) from Curtin University of Technology, Western Australia; is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors; a Member of the Curtin Business School Advisory Council; and the Chairman of the Western Australian Youth Jazz Orchestra.
