If you are a board director today, you are probably considering issues such as funding models, impact measurement, talent attraction and retention, mergers and acquisitions, and how to deal with increasing levels of inequality in society.
Recently, it was shown in the WA Not for Profit Landscape Report that the WA’s charities sector employs 7% of the state’s workforce – three times as many workers as agriculture, forestry and fishing put together, and just behind manufacturing at 7.4% and mining at 8%.
With these new realisations, do we need to re-imagine what the NFP sector might look like in 10 years time? What could it achieve? What is it’s purpose? And how do we effectively achieve this?
