Peter is a qualified lawyer and has worked as an Intellectual property advisor to Governments and companies and as startup adviser. Peter was also a founding member of the Western Australian Angel Investors Association.

Marc Loftus is the lead partner of the Private Clients division for BDO Perth. He has a wealth of experience and proven ability to successfully manage the delivery of engagements. Marc has over 25 years of experience working across a broad range of industries. He provides Australian and international businesses with financial and strategic advice, particularly in relation to taxation, accounting, and corporate functions. Marc specialises in strategic business improvement and outsourced financial services, such as management accounting, payroll and associated compliance requirements.

Rob Nathan

Rob Nathan is the co-founder of the Vocus Upstart accelerator program and an active angel investor. Rob is also CEO and Founder of AustralianTenders.com.au with over 20 years experience in the IT sector. Rob is on the committee of eGroup, a Mentor at the Founders Institute and is passionate about helping WA start-ups achieve global success. He is also an active investor in early stage technology companies and a member of the Perth Angels.

Rob Nathan will provide an outline of:
•the Companies that have been selected for the latest round of the Vocus Upstart Accelerator and the investment criteria used for their selection.
•what Vocus Upstart is doing to ensure the companies in the Accelerator will be Innovation Tax Incentive Eligible
•What Vocus Upstart is doing to prepare the companies to be ready to seek further investment later this year.
