To raise awareness of its services and the plight of Perth’s homeless community, St Bart’s is hosting its inaugural St Bartholomew’s Day Fun Fair on Sunday, 24 August 2014 from 6pm to 8.30pm in front of St George’s Cathedral in Perth’s CBD.

It will follow a one-hour church service which will be held in the Cathedral at 5pm.

The Victorian themed Fair will be free for all to attend and will include a wide range of entertainment including: a brass band, a merry-go-round, mini ferris wheel, circus performers, stilt walkers and a strength test.

A selection of food and beverage stalls will serve up a selection of robust food to keep the winter chill at bay including: a spit roast, jacket potatoes, soup and a selection of pies.

Celebrating more than 50 years of operation within the Western Australian community, St Bartholomew’s House (St Bart’s) mission is to assist the homeless of today and rebuild their lives, and act to prevent the homelessness of tomorrow.
