As a key driver injecting $11.8billion in the state’s economy and generating approximately 104,000 jobs, tourism is fundamental to the success of WA. While across the country international visitors have boomed, WA’s tourism market is declining and currently relying on a steady influx of interstate visitors to feed the local tourism industry. With new infrastructure, new hotels and direct flights to key capital and regional centres, how can WA take advantage of these assets?
