Lloyd Smith, Group Chief Executive, Gerard Daniels

During his career Lloyd Smith has been approached by many people on how to progress their own careers to achieve the goal of becoming a Chief Executive Officer.

The one common element from the overwhelming majority of these conversations is that most people don’t have a clear plan.

During his presentation Lloyd would like to share his thoughts and ideas about how you might achieve this goal sooner with the right organisation or through setting yourself clear objectives and working the plan

Lloyd has more than 25 years’ experience in senior-level executive search and human resources consulting in key industry sectors in Australia, New Zealand, South East Asia and the United Kingdom.

He is considered one of the leading human resource professionals in the Asia Pacific for his proven expertise in recruiting Chief Executive Officers, Chief Operating Officers, Chairmen and Non-Executive Directors. Lloyd also has a strong track record of success in corporate governance assignments involving structure, strategy and board composition.

Lloyd holds a Bachelor of Arts (Distinction) from Curtin University of Technology, Western Australia; is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors; a Member of the Curtin Business School Advisory Council; and the Chairman of the Western Australian Youth Jazz Orchestra.
