Ride Against Domestic Violence aims to raise funds and help turn the spotlight on the tragedy that is domestic violence.

Did you know domestic violence affects 1 in every 3 Australian women, 1 woman is killed every week as a result of domestic violence and it is the leading contributor to death, disability and illness for women aged 15 to 44.

With statistics like this, raising awareness about domestic violence and joining together to support victims is a cause we cannot ignore.

Join the Ride Against Domestic Violence cocktail fundraiser on 23 June 2016 to raise funds for local women’s refuges.

Ride Against Domestic Violence is a cycling event led by Labor MP Tony Buti and Liberal MP Tony Simpson uniting prominent Perth business people, politicians, businessmen, unionists and others to raise awareness about domestic violence. The four day cycling event left Margaret River on Friday 27 May and finished at Elizabeth Quay in Perth on 29 May 2016.

The cocktail party will provide the opportunity to mingle with the riders and support crew while having a few cocktails and enjoying all the WA Club has to offer.

Local women's refuges that will benefit from the group’s efforts are Starick Services, South West Refuge, Tuart House (Communicare) and Pat Thomas House.

The event runs from 6.00pm to 8.30pm and tickets are $150 per head.

If you can’t attend the event, we encourage donations. Ride Against Domestic Violence aims to raise $20,000. Visit rideagainstdomesticviolence.com for more information.
