RBA 101 Workshop

This one-day workshop, delivered by Mark Friedman introduces participants to the RBA framework.

In the workshop, RBA is applied to both cross-community quality of life improvements and the management of programs, agencies, and service systems.

During the morning session,
• Establish results and indicators of community wellbeing
• Use results to drive decision making and budgeting
• Identify performance measures for programs, agencies, and service systems
• Use performance measures to improve performance
• Link program accountability to cross community efforts

In the afternoon following lunch and networking, an optional 90 minute question and answer panel session will be held. During this session, panel members will field questions about the challenges and opportunities of choosing the appropriate measures for desired outcomes. Panel members include:

• John Berger, Executive General Manager – Operations, Anglicare WA
• Rick Cummings, Manager, Education Development, Division of Academic Affairs at Murdoch University
• Kylie Towie, Director of Funding and Contracting Services, Government of Western Australia Department of Finance
