Advisers in Australia are playing an increasingly important role and adding value to their clients in discussions that relate to the clients’ philanthropic passions and activities. You are invited for a morning presentation and dialogue with renowned international guest speakers, Roberta d’Eustachio of Ambassadors for Philanthropy and Kevin Murphy of the US Council of Foundations. This is a chance to hear how advisers are playing a key role in growing philanthropy across the globe.

About the speakers
Kevin Murphy is president of Berks County Community Foundation as well as Chairman of the U.S. Council on Foundations, the trade association representing philanthropic foundations across America.  Members of the Council included more than 1,750 independent, operating, community, public and company-sponsored foundation, and corporate giving programs in the U.S.A and abroad.  As such he represents billions of dollars of philanthropic investments, at the highest level.

In 2010 Kevin joined the leadership of the Global Philanthropy Initiative, partnership of the Council of Foundations, the European Foundation Centre and WINGS (Worldwide Initiative for Grantmaker Support) established to campaign for a more favourable environment for cross-border giving; develop models and vehicles for pooling foundation resources and increasing collaboration; and identifying key opportunities to engage with policy makers and multilateral organisations.

Roberta d’Eustachio through her work both with the Ambassadors for Philanthropy and Giving Magazine (as Editor in Chief) has created a global network of philanthropists.  She is an entrepreneur obsessed with delivering media from the philanthropist’s point of view.

She is a consultant to leading global brands including the Economist, the Financial Times, Euro Money/Institutional Investor, The Pitcairn Family Office, Fidelity Investments and the World Bank as well as philanthropists, social enterprises and
