Perth Chamber Orchestra Launch

Event Date:
10 April 2013
GPO Building, Forrest Chase

The Perth Chamber Orchestra is a brand new orchestra for Perth, committed to giving outstanding concerts that offer a unique, very accessible, concert experience. The launch on Wednesday 10th April kicks of the "Heritage Series" which will see the orchestra perform in some of Perth's most beautiful Heritage Buildings in association with Heritage Perth. In addition, the Heritage Series presents a 'degustation' experience where fine wines by Barton Jones Wines and stunning canapés by Comestibles have been selected to compliment the music, presented in 'three courses'  or three short sets. Finally, incredible artist, Phil Doncan, will be painting three canvasses live, one during each set - bringing to life the music in a visual interpretation.

The concert promises to be an incredible feast for all the senses: smell, taste, sight and sound - offering a totally absorbing entertainment experience that touches the audience at every level: hear music as it was meant to be felt, seen and heard.

The concert is presented from 6pm to 8pm, enabling those that live and work in the city to come directly from the office, experience something unique, and be home by 8.30 in time to be with the family, or head out into Perth to enjoy one of the many stunning restaurants and bars. It is the ideal forum to join friends, staff or clients that work in Perth for an evening you will remember.

Join the Perth Chamber Orchestra with Concertmaster Paul Wright, and conductor Jessica Gethin, for this, their first ever performance, in one of Perth's most beautiful buildings: The GPO Building in Forrest Place. Tickets are available via or directly from the ticketing website HERE and are $75 inclusive of the music, food, and wine, and the art works will be available to purchase on the night too.

The Perth Chamber Orchestra is the little sister of the Perth Symphony Orchestra, Australia's newest professional Symphony Orchestra supported by AHG that has been winning over thousands of new fans through its incredible sound, broad appeal programming, dynamic approach and fantastic concert locations.

Tickets are limited so please do book sooner rather than later if you'd like to come.
