Leading the Mental Health Agenda in your Organisation
17 May 2017
76 Birkdale Street
Many managers feel ill-equipped to deal with mental health issues and will often avoid raising the subject. However, managers can be a positive and supportive point of contact for employees who may be struggling. There are a number of simple and effective tools that managers can use to raise the issue of mental illness and assist affected individuals to seek help. This program will provide managers with practical skills in having these conversations and information about the range of mental health services available.
This workshop is designed for any manager who would like to improve their skills in understanding and dealing with mental health issues in the workplace. It is targeted at managers who do not have a professional background in mental health.
