Leadership, Strategy & Being the Boss
24 July 2013
Hyatt Regency Perth
Senior Executive Forum
The 2013 Senior Executive Forum represents a rare privilege to work closely with these two outstanding thinkers, teachers and experts in the field. The Forum is ideally suited to participants who are senior managers, executives or leaders who are at, or have the potential to reach, the most senior general management, CEO or business unit leadership roles. The peer-to-peer discussion, debate and engagement, combined with the high level content ensures this senior level audience will be challenged and tested throughout the Forum. The superb facilitation skills of Professors Hill and Mills will draw new insights and thinking from participants and this learning will be woven into a tapestry of models and frameworks of contemporary leadership and strategy.
Being the Boss - Professor Linda A Hill (Harvard Business School)
Professor Hill offers practical insight into the methods that work and those that are less likely to succeed. She also explores the reasons why some leadership journeys falter, even stall, while others develop and grow steadily.
Leading in Uncertain Times - Professor D Quinn Mills (Harvard Business School)
During the Forum, Professor Mills will address the issues of leadership in times of crisis and in times of economic and political uncertainty. In times gone by, these circumstances would be seen as unusual. In the modern world they feel like regular occurrences. Without a strong platform of values, clarity of objectives, distributed leadership and an unwavering commitment to the outcome, leaders will struggle to cope.
Participants who confirm registration by close of business on Friday 12 April 2013 and forward a deposit of $4,290 will pay a total fee of only $8,547 - a saving of $440.
Please note: All fees are quoted in Australian Dollars and are inclusive of GST.
Cancellations made before Friday 14 June 2013 will receive a full refund. Where cancellations are made between Monday 17 June and Friday 28 June 2013, AIM WA will retain a non-refundable amount of AUD $4,400. No refunds will be given for cancellations made after Monday 1 July 2013, unless AIM WA is able to fill the vacancy with an acceptable financial replacement.
