LESANZ 2014

LESANZ 2014 presents its annual flagship event, a two-day conference called 'LESANZ 2014 Ideas. Create. Prosperity' featuring national and international guest speakers.

LESANZ is the regional chapter of LES International, a global community of innovation and commercialisation professionals. With over 500 members from a wide range of businesses and professions, LESANZ’s focus is to create an environment for effective and successful commercialisation using open exchange ideas, identifying best practice and encouraging innovation through both networking and education in all areas of intellectual property.

Together with associated workshops and activities, the conference will provide an excellent environment to exchange ideas, meet new people, and form new business relationships.

It is expected to attract between 100 and 120 delegates from around the world.

The theme of the conference is "Ideas. Create. Prosperity”. Innovation in the public and private sectors impacts almost all aspects of our daily lives. It is the catalyst that enables the development and transfer of knowledge, technology, content and value across industries and across borders. Collaboration and successful capture, commercialisation, implementation and adoption of innovation directly drives commercial, personal and national prosperity:

• energy, water and food security for a sustainable future
• deliver technological solutions to national and global markets
• break down perceptions and boundaries through local and international collaboration

• As well as addressing the core practices relating to development and implementation of technology transfer and commercialisation immediately relevant to many delegates, LESANZ 2014 Ideas. Create.
