This workshop involves immersive activities that expose participants to history, values, belief systems and world view of Aboriginals - or in short the Aboriginal way of being, doing and knowing. It outlines the contact history between the Aboriginal people of Western Australia and the colonisers, sharing Australia’s story. It aims to develop and build the awareness and understanding of Aboriginal Australian culture, contemporary realities and Indigenous protocols.

The workshop provides an overview of Western Australian history, and highlights local Perth history and Nyungar language. Be prepared to be moved and, most of all, experience cultural training that is immersive and experiential.
