As the State is starting to show tentative signs of a turn-around in its financial fortunes, this year's budget will now be under pressure from competing demands of increased spending and continued fiscal constraint.

The Hon. Ben Wyatt MLA, Treasurer of Western Australia, joins us in May to discuss more on the 2019/20 State Budget. Ably MC’d by Mr Bill Scanlan, we will bring you a national perspective with EY Chief Economist (Oceania) Jo Masters joining the Treasurer on a panel following the keynote presentation. Most importantly, and unlike any other briefing on the budget, the session will zero in on what the budget means for the public sector.
