Jim Walker, Non-Executive Chairman and Board Director

From Fitter and Leading Hand to CEO and Chairman, Jim Walker has accomplished a great deal during his remarkable leadership career spanning over 40 years in the resources sector. His most recent executive position was Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of WesTrac Pty Ltd, where he led the company’s rapid development in industrial and mining services locally and in China. Jim is non-Executive Chairman of Macmahon Holdings Pty Ltd, Austin Engineering and the WA State Training Board. Additionally, Jim is Deputy Chair of RACWA Holdings Pty Ltd and the WA Motor Museum. A Fellow of Australian Institute of Management (AIM WA), Jim held the position of President AIM WA (2008 - 2010) and was National President of the Australian Institute of Management (2010 - 2013). Jim was also a Director of Seven Group Holdings Ltd and National Hire Group Limited, and is a graduate member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD).
