Gourmet Escape

Margaret River Gourmet Escape is now one of Australia’s most anticipated celebrations of food and wine. Held over four days each November in Australia’s South West, in the stunning Margaret River region, Margaret River Gourmet Escape is a stylish celebration of food, wine and the region’s natural beauty.

The festival attracts internationally celebrated chefs who come together with food producers and winemakers to provide incredible and unique gourmet experiences for visitors. Cumulatively, since the inaugural 2012 festival, over 100,000 passionate foodies have shared in the unique local flavours, incredible landscapes, fun atmosphere and personal experiences of 160 of their favourite food and wine celebrities and influencers.

Individual events are held on the ocean and on land - in wineries, restaurants, breweries, barns and on the beach. The centerpiece of the festival is the Gourmet Village. Situated in the immaculate grounds of Leeuwin Estate Winery, the Gourmet Village lies at the heart of what makes Gourmet Escape such a must-do event for food and wine lovers.

Over the weekend of Saturday 17 & Sunday 18 November 2018 (11am-6pm), Leeuwin Estate will once again echo to the sound of festival-goers having a damned fine time!
