Leading RegTech specialist Harry Toukalas will be revealing how his firm’s AI tool can predict misconduct in financial services.This ground-breaking technology developed in conjunction with MIT analyses email communication patterns and psycholinguistic analysis of email content to flag up issues such as mis-selling, cyber security and fraud.The Blackhall & Pearl tool already being used around the world by more than 40 organisations is eight times faster than other methods. Joining Harry will be John Watters, Co-Founder and CEO of Informed Position. They will discuss the AI assets they have developed to provide extremely high accuracy price and point position predictions for use in automated trading platforms.

Speaker Bio:
Harry Toukalas, Group Managing Partner, Blackhall & Pearl
Harry is the co-founder of Blackhall & Pearl and has significant global experience in the fields of risk and business management. He commenced his senior career with the NAB as the Australian Head of Operational Risk before joining Bankers Trust as the Regional Vice President Risk Management for Asia/Pacific. He then returned to the NAB as the Global General Manager of Operational Risk and Compliance for the Group. Harry subsequently became the founding Managing Director of the Bank of Cyprus Australia (now Delphi Bank), building it into a full service retail bank. He is currently completing a PhD on Risk and Artificial Intelligence.

John Watters, Co-Founder and CEO of Informed Position
John Watters is the co-founder and CEO of Informed Position, an early stage FINTECH company with a primary focus on developing Artificial Intelligence (AI) enabled products that enhance trading systems within financial markets. Informed Position’s AI trading platforms utilise highly accurate AI predictions to guide algorithmic trade programs. Prior to co-founding Informed Position, John had an extensive career in defence, working in planning and analytical roles. John is passionate about exploring new and emerging technologies and examining how new technologies can be applied in the real world.
