Please join us for a morning tea with Marcus Stafford, CEO, The Multiple Sclerosis Society of WA as he talks about his views in an uncertain and challenging time in the Social and Community Services sector.

‘It’s not a time to cower in the corner, it’s a time to embrace the opportunity, to make smart and ethical decisions that will safeguard the rich promise of the future’.

Kelly Dudgeon, IR & Safety Policy Officer, CCI will also be opening the floor to allow attendees to raise any concerns in relation to the implementation of the NDIS, the changing operational environment and organisational sustainability in the sector, as well as providing a brief update on CCI’s policy forum.

About Marcus Stafford:

Marcus Stafford has held senior management positions in large and small organisations around the world. Those various roles covered the key seven bases of business. Industries have included banking, freight forwarding/logistics, management consulting and not-for-profit.

Marcus is currently the CEO of MSWA in Western Australia, an organisation with 650 staff. For the last three years, he has also led the turnaround of the MS Society in South Australia and the Northern Territory.

In 2015, he won AIM’s national award for Australia’s Not-For-Profit Manager of the Year.
