Network, be inspired and learn about employment and inclusion in the workplace at the City of South Perth's Disability Employment Sundowner.
Employers, people with disability, parents and carers will have the opportunity to meet with representatives from Disability Employment Service (DES) providers, support service organisations, education, government departments and local businesses.
Guest speakers:
- Ian Tsolakis, Group Disability Employment Manager, Crown Perth
- Sarah Wardle, Count Me In Ambassador for Disability Services Commission
Mr Tsolakis will speak about CROWNability, Crown Resorts disability employment program and discuss how businesses can create inclusive workplaces. Ms Wardle will speak about her employment journey, providing insight into her personal experiences as a person with disability.
Funded by the Lighthouse Project, a partnership between the Disability Services Commission and Local Governments Professionals Australia WA.
