In an age of data breaches, information privacy concerns, digital disruption and apparent societal dystopia, being able to make, keep, find, and re-use information is more important than it has ever been.
Richard Foy, New Zealand’s Chief Archivist - a design savvy futurist promoting a transformational vision of digital technology and a Star Trek fan - will speak at the 2018 Geoffrey Bolton Lecture about why the keeping of archives encourages responsibility and accountability, and will help us achieve maximum warp drive into the future.
Time and date: 6pm, Monday 12 November 2018
Place: State Theatre Centre, 174-176 William Street, Perth (corner Roe Street)
Entry is by ticket only. To secure your ticket for this free event, please email firstname.lastname@example.org by 2 November 2018.
